Finam Summer Market Lands at RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK for Four Days
The web magazine HOUYHNHNM (Finam) is taking its editorial sensibility off the screen and into a physical market at RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK from 17 to 20 July 2026. Titled Summer Private Market in MIYASHITA PARK, the four-day event assembles 16 fashion industry insiders, artists, musicians and shop owners the magazine has met through years of interviews and shoots, each running a temporary personal shop on the South 2F atrium plaza.
Hours run 13:00 to 19:00 each day, with some vendors keeping slightly different times. Admission is free, no reservation required, and the venue is the open-air South 2F吹き抜け広場 (atrium square) at RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK, 6-20-10 Jingumae, Shibuya. The closest stations are Shibuya (JR, Tokyo Metro Ginza/Hanzomon/Fukutoshin, Tokyu, Keio Inokashira) about 3 minutes on foot, and Meiji-jingumae Harajuku Station 7-guchi about 8 minutes on foot.
Two-Part Lineup That Swaps Halfway Through
The market splits into two halves, with the roster changing between PART1 and PART2. Each vendor sells a mix of personal wardrobe pieces, items from their own brands, and original goods, making the stalls genuinely genre-less rather than a typical craft fair.
PART1 (17-18 July) brings fashion director Keiji Kaneko of L'ECHOPPE and FOUNDOUR, Daishi Nishino of the pants label NEAT, stylist So Matsukawa, shoe buyer Yuki Miura, stacks bookstore editor Maruro Yamashita, BEAMS WOMENS buyer Mayu Kato, calligrapher Tomoka Naka, and Sunsetter Publishing founder Ami Watanabe.
PART2 (19-20 July) rotates in MURPHH buyer Homare, ReCent Product. fragrance brand founder Makoto Tanida, designer Kanta Hirasawa of restrunt, vintage shop GREENY founder Kazutsu Horiuchi, Denim Tears Japan director Leo Yoshioka, artist Aimi Odawara of I&ME, Texas 3000 bassist Kirin, and Jimbocho used-bookshop sub-manager Bun, who published his first essay collection with KADOKAWA in December 2025.
Three Campaigns Tied to the Market
Spend 2,000 yen or more (tax included) inside the market and follow the official MIYASHITA PARK Instagram (@miyashitapark_), and you can spin the Garapon lottery drum for prizes that include items from mall tenants like Macqlo, Wrangler, and wander, SOPH., DAYZ and grounds, plus Finam original goods and in-mall shopping vouchers. Prizes run out without notice.
Throughout the four days, a 500 yen dining voucher usable at MIYASHITA PARK restaurants is handed out at the atrium, again while supplies last. A separate Instagram lucky bag campaign runs 10-20 July: follow @miyashitapark_, like the target post and comment your preferred lucky bag for a chance to win one of four bags stuffed with vendor items.
The event is the latest in MIYASHITA PARK's NO MORE NORMAL programming, which has hosted earlier Finam collaborations including an Alpha Industries pop-up in May 2026 and a Star Wars art pop-up in October 2025. For shoppers who already follow the magazine, this is the rare chance to handle the kind of clothes, books, and objects that appear in Finam features in person, and to meet the people behind them.
