SHIBUYA SKY × Konno Hachimangu New Year Sunrise offers the chance to watch the first sunrise of the year from Shibuya's highest point — the 229-meter open-air rooftop of Shibuya Scramble Square.
A Shinto priest from Konno Hachimangu conducts a New Year blessing ceremony, and five types of "Sora Omamori" (sky amulets) are distributed — 730 of each, with a first-fruit offering of ¥1,500.

Book the SHIBUYA SKY timed ticket well in advance — New Year's Day slots sell out.
Sunrise is around 6:50; arrive by 6:30 to settle in before the ceremony.
