Food was very ordinary for a tourist price, service not great. Overall only the atmosphere was the only thing that was good. Will not return.

Shibuya Yokocho is an indoor food alley on the ground floor of the Rayard Miyashita Park South building, designed to evoke the convivial atmosphere of Japan's traditional yokocho alleyways. The space is lined with dozens of small restaurants and bars, each specialising in regional dishes from different prefectures across the country, allowing visitors to embark on a culinary tour of Japan without ever leaving Shibuya. The variety on offer is impressive: Hokkaido seafood, Osaka okonomiyaki, Fukuoka tonkotsu ramen, and Kyoto-style obanzai all sit alongside one another. Red lanterns, wooden counters, and communal seating create an authentic izakaya feel that encourages sharing dishes and striking up conversations with neighbouring diners. The alley stays lively well into the evening, with many outlets open until late. Because the venue is indoors, it is an excellent option regardless of the weather. Visitors can wander the length of the yokocho to compare menus before committing, and many stalls accept cash only, so it is worth carrying some yen. The park's location between Shibuya and Harajuku makes it an easy addition to any evening out in the area.
