Shibuya Cast Garden is the ground-level outdoor space at Shibuya Cast, a creative mixed-use development on Meiji-dori Avenue just one minute from Shibuya Station's B1 exit. The garden spans approximately 290 square metres of thoughtfully planted terrain that shifts in character with the seasons, serving as a breezy public living room for the surrounding neighbourhood. On most days the space hums with food trucks serving everything to specialty coffee to creative street food, and it regularly hosts weekend markets, pop-up workshops and small-scale cultural events. The planting scheme is deliberately varied, with flora chosen to offer changing colours and textures throughout the year, so no two visits feel quite the same. It is the sort of place where office workers eat their lunch beside tourists sketching the greenery, all within earshot of Shibuya's famous scramble. The garden is open from 9 am to 8 pm and admission is free, though ticketed events may occasionally charge an entry fee. Its immediate proximity to Shibuya Station makes it an effortless detour between shopping and sightseeing, and the nearby Shibuya Cast interior spaces house cafes and galleries worth exploring as well.
