OBSCURA COFFEE ROASTERS Front is the Shibuya outpost of a respected Tokyo-based speciality coffee roaster, located on the basement first floor of Shibuya Mark City within the Tokyu Food Show. The 'Front' concept is designed for speed and convenience: a compact takeaway-focused counter where commuters can grab a freshly brewed pour-over or espresso drink along with a bag of single-origin beans to take home. Obscura sources and roasts its beans with meticulous attention to origin and flavour profile, and the Front menu reflects this with a rotating selection of seasonal lots. While seating is limited to a small standing counter, the emphasis is very much on quality on the go, and the baristas are happy to chat about the day's offerings if the queue allows. The shop is positioned just inside the Tokyu Food Show entrance on the B1F level of Mark City, a minute's walk from the Shibuya Station Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line ticket gate. Opening hours run from 10:00 to 21:00 daily, and the store is closed only on irregular holidays that follow the department store schedule.
