Harappa

Harappa is the fourth-floor space within Tokyu Plaza Harajuku Harakado, designed around the concept of "chilling out in nature" in the middle of Harajuku. The floor features artwork and video installations that reflect themes of nature and sustainability, creating a calm, park-like atmosphere that feels worlds away from the bustling streets below. Visitors can use the space as an eat-in area for the adjacent Harakado Cafe, making it an ideal spot to linger over a coffee or light meal surrounded by greenery-inspired design.\n\nThe Harakado complex itself, which opened in 2024, is a six-storey mixed-use building that houses fashion boutiques, restaurants, a deli and lifestyle shops across its floors. Harappa sits at the heart of the building's more relaxed zone, between the ground-floor retail and the upper-floor dining terraces. The building also features the Kitchen and Terrace dining area on the 5th and 6th floors, with restaurants including Ippudo, Falafel Brothers and Pretty Pork Factory.\n\nIf the Harajuku crowds become too much, Harappa offers a quiet breather without leaving the building. Settle into a seat, enjoy a drink from the cafe, and let the nature-inspired surrounds recharge you before diving back in.
