About This Event / イベントについて
The 34th Shibuya Sakura Matsuri centers on Shibuya Sakura Stage and the Sakuragaoka area, running March 27–April 5, 2026. The highlight is the GMO cherry light-up along Sakura-zaka, where the cherry trees are illuminated nightly from 18:00. On April 5, the street becomes pedestrian-only for the "GMO Shibuya Sakura Stroll" (14:15–15:45).
Beyond the light-up, the festival features a Sakura Miku collaboration, a sakura bread festival, a stamp rally, and 250 lanterns illuminating the Sakuragaoka plaza. The lanterns run from March 23 through April 5, extending the cherry-blossom experience across the entire bloom season.
