About This Event / イベントについて
Konno Hachimangu Reitaisai is Shibuya's largest annual festival, with a history spanning over 930 years. The highlight is the parade of 14 mikoshi (portable shrines) through the streets of Aoyama and Shibuya, converging at SHIBUYA109 for a grand union parade around 14:00.
The shrine grounds host approximately 40 food stalls, Kagura (sacred dance) performances, a children's festival, kitchen-car food court, and pony rides. The band BEGIN performs a dedication live concert. Festivity events run 11:00–21:00 both days.
