About This Event / イベントについて
Dragon Quest the DIVE is the 40th anniversary commemorative exhibition for one of Japan's most beloved RPG franchises, running July 17 to September 6, 2026 at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado" in Shibuya ward. The show is designed as an immersive dive into four decades of the series — from the 1986 original to today — using original artwork, video projections, sound design and hands-on installations.
Visitors move through zones that reconstruct iconic towns, dungeons and battle scenes, with the goal of letting longtime fans literally step inside the worlds they have only seen on screen. Limited-edition 40th anniversary merchandise is sold at the venue, and advance/timed tickets are expected given the franchise pull.
Harakado is a 5-minute walk from Meiji-jingumae (Harajuku) Station, making the show an easy pair with a Shibuya afternoon — combine it with Shibuya Sky or a PARCO stop on the same day.
