Tokyu Department Store's Shibuya Food Islands are four hubs, eight floors, about 240 shops and 10,000 square metres around Shibuya Station. The autumn sheet is not one fair. It is a pile of short windows: a fig shortcake already on the Mark City 1F counter, a Korean bagel shop on 15 September, a taco counter on 14 September, a butter sandwich that opened on the 3rd. If you treat it as "go to the depachika," you will miss the dates.
What to buy this week at Mark City 1F
Shinjuku Takano's cafe fig shortcake is 972 yen, on sale from 1 September at Tokyu Food Show on Mark City 1F. Sponge, fig, coffee whipped cream. It looks like a fruit-shop cake because it is one. Antenor's shibukawa chestnut montblanc roll is 2,430 yen for a 16 cm loaf, from 3 September, same floor. Chestnut cream inside the sponge, montblanc piped on top, pear and chestnut on the finish. Ginza Akebono's shiratama chestnut daifuku is 324 yen from 1 September, one whole chestnut in the middle.
Mercer bis puts a single-serve grape and cassis chiffon on the same 1F from 10 to 16 September, 1,600 yen, about 9 cm across. That one is a six-day window. Okowa Yonehachi's aki no minori bento is 1,090 yen, 40 pieces a day, 10 to 16 September, downstairs in Shibuchika. Mushroom, pumpkin, sweet potato in a small box. If you want both the grape cake and the bento, that is the 10 to 16 September overlap, and the bento will be gone before the cake.
Matsuyama, a Kitakyushu counter with a Tabelog Award 2026 Silver, pops butter sandwiches onto Mark City 1F from 10 to 16 September. Same week as the grape cake. Do not assume you can do Takano, Mercer, Matsuyama, and Yonehachi in one loop without a plan. Start at 1F sweets, then drop to Shibuchika for the box.
Scramble Square: Butter no Itoko, then tacos
Butter no Itoko opened 3 September on Food Show EDGE 1F in Shibuya Scramble Square. Nasu-born. Skim milk left from butter making, cooked into a milk jam, sandwiched in a butter gofrette. The shop copy is fluff, shari, toro. The useful fact is the address: EDGE 1F, not the B2 food hall. SHIROÉ by Hugh Morgan sits on EventStage1 on the same 1F from 3 to 16 September with vanilla white-chocolate nama-choco.
TACO RiCO is the first Shibuya counter for that taco-and-burrito shop. 14 September, EDGE B2. The release says fully handmade, meat grilled in house spice, built to order, all items available for takeout. UP Noodle on the same B2 already has an autumn mushroom and egg ankake pho at 990 yen, eat-in or takeout, from 1 September. Shiitake, shimeji, enoki. Blangé Asanoya's apple-and-sweet-potato Shibuya set is 1,000 yen from 1 September on EDGE B2, apple pie plus a new sweet-potato danish in the shop box, Scramble Square only.
Adam's awesome PIE, a 70-year produce wholesaler baking apple pies, pops 17 to 23 September on EDGE 1F Space1. That is after SHIROÉ leaves. If you want the vanilla nama-choco, go before the 16th. If you want the pie, wait until the 17th. Same floor, different week.
Hikarie basement, and the bagel date
Alm Bagel opens 15 September on Mark City 1F, a Seoul bakery's Korean bagel line, crusted outside, dense inside. Mon Loire, the Kobe leaf-chocolate shop, opened 3 September on the same 1F. Leaf Memory is the SKU people actually buy as a small gift.
Under Hikarie, Toyoko Norengai in ShinQs B2 has La Maison Shirokanee's apple-and-chestnut tart set from 7 September, 1,296 yen. Le Pain de Joël Robuchon runs an Earl Grey milk France with dried fig, 420 yen, 9 September to 13 October. Kanaya Kashi Honpo pops butter-salt cookies 3 to 23 September in the B2 event space, Hokkaido butter and Guérande salt. KITAINARI on B3 sells an eight-piece inari box for 1,500 yen, autumn kinpira with shiitake. That box is the only one on this list without a start date in the autumn release. Assume it is on the counter now.
Hours at these floors are the usual depachika clock, roughly 10:00 to 21:00, with Sunday and holiday cuts at ShinQs. Mark City Food Show, EDGE, and Norengai are all inside a short walk of Shibuya Station. Pick two counters, not twelve. The grape cake dies on 16 September. The taco shop does not open until 14 September. Those two dates are the ones that actually change how you walk the station.
