Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, recently renamed Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Omokado, is a multi-storey shopping centre designed by architect Hiroshi Nakamura and opened in 2012. Its most iconic feature is the entrance portal of angled mirrors that creates a kaleidoscope effect, making it one of the most photographed spots in the Harajuku area. The complex houses a curated selection of fashion boutiques, lifestyle shops, cafes and pop-up spaces spread across several floors. The rooftop Omohara Forest garden offers open-air seating with views over the Omotesando streetscape and is free to enter, providing a welcome respite from the bustling avenues below. Situated at the junction of Omotesando and Harajuku, the plaza is a five-minute walk from Harajuku Station's Omotesando exit and directly accessible from Meiji-jingumae Station. Opening hours are generally 11:00 to 20:00, though individual store times may vary.
