SHIBUYA CROSSING S VIEW occupies the seventh floor of MAGNET by Shibuya 109, placing visitors at one of the best vantage points in the district for photographing the iconic Scramble Crossing. The facility is designed specifically for viewing and photographing the intersection, where up to 500,000 people cross daily, and the elevated position provides a dramatic perspective that street-level photography simply cannot match. The space is part of the broader MAG8 complex, which was renovated and reopened in March 2026 with enhanced facilities. Alongside the observation area, visitors can enjoy the rooftop lounge with its bar and seating, making it possible to linger over a drink whilst watching the ever-shifting patterns of pedestrians below. The views are especially striking at night, when the crossing's lights and the surrounding buildings create a vivid urban panorama. The facility is open from 10:00 to 5:00 the following morning, making it one of the few observation points in Shibuya available late into the night. An admission fee applies, and tickets can be purchased on the day or in advance through platforms such as Klook.
