Laforet Museum Harajuku occupies the sixth floor of the iconic Laforet Harajuku building, a landmark of Tokyo's street and youth culture for over two decades. The museum is a multi-purpose hall that curates exhibitions and events spanning art, design, photography and other cultural forms closely intertwined with fashion. Programming is noted for its eclectic, genre-defying approach: past events have ranged from contemporary art installations to pop-culture showcases and fashion presentations. An admission fee of around 400 yen typically applies for exhibitions.
