Atelier Pierrot is one of Japan's original gothic lolita fashion brands, having first opened its doors in 1969. Its flagship store occupies the B1.5 floor of Laforet Harajuku in the Jingumae district of Shibuya, making it a cornerstone of the neighbourhood's alternative fashion scene. The brand also operates a newer Maison de Atelier Pierrot branch within the same building. Beyond its own in-house label, Atelier Pierrot functions as a curated select shop carrying a wide range of gothic and lolita clothing, accessories, bags and shoes from labels such as Vallee Lys, Violet Fane and Diom.
