About This Event / イベントについて
Namaste India is Japan's largest India-themed outdoor festival. The 2026 edition occupies Yoyogi Park's B-area event square on Saturday 26 September (10:00–20:00) and Sunday 27 September (10:00–19:30), organised by the Namaste India executive committee and the NPO that promotes Japan–India exchange.
Booths split into restaurants, drinks, retail, tourism/corporate and services (yoga, healing, beauty). Stages typically mix Bharatanatyam and other classical dance with Bollywood numbers and live music. Past editions have packed the lawns; this year's vendor briefing again cites a 200,000-visitor forecast.
Admission is free and the event is rain-or-shine. It shares the same weekend as Miyashita Park Bon Dance in central Shibuya — plan transit time between Harajuku/Yoyogi and Shibuya Station if you intend to do both.

Tips / アドバイス
Eat before the 13:00–15:00 crush, or go later for shorter food queues.
食事は13〜15時のピークを避けるか、遅めに。
Sunday closes 30 minutes earlier (19:30).

Harajuku Station is the usual approach; follow park signs to the event square.
