A multi-storey entertainment and dining complex in central Shibuya, home to Niku Yokocho, karaoke, darts and an array of eateries.

Chitose Kaikan is an eight-storey mixed-use building dating from 1984, standing on Udagawacho in the heart of Shibuya's nightlife district. Rather than a single venue, it functions as a compact vertical neighbourhood housing a varied collection of restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment spaces under one roof.

The building is perhaps best known as the home of Shibuya Niku Yokocho, a bustling alley of meat-focused eateries on the second and third floors that draws hungry crowds every evening. Other tenants include izakayas, a karaoke bar, darts facilities, beauty salons, and even a lottery centre on the ground floor, giving the building a wonderfully eclectic atmosphere.

Managed by Toko Real Estate, Chitose Kaikan is open well into the small hours, with many of its tenants operating until dawn. Its location just steps from Shibuya Station makes it an easy late-night stop, and the sheer variety inside means there is almost always something to suit any mood or budget.
