A handy Tokyu supermarket directly connected to Shibuya Station, offering fresh foods, handmade bento and deli sides for locals and commuters alike.
Tokyu Store sits on the second floor of Shibuya Sakura Stage, right alongside the station's West Exit deck, making it one of the most convenient grocery stops in the district. Opened in summer 2024, the shop caters to everyone from busy office workers grabbing lunch to residents stocking up on daily essentials.
The shelves are well stocked with fresh produce, chilled goods and a particularly strong line-up of in-store handmade bento boxes and ready-made side dishes. Health-conscious options feature prominently, and the deli counter is a genuine lunchtime draw for anyone working in the surrounding towers.
Opening hours run from 9 am to 10 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 9 pm on weekends and public holidays, with an earlier 8 am start on weekdays from March. The only closure is 1-3 January. Direct station access means you can pop in without ever stepping outside.

I went to the preview of Shibuya Sakura Stage. Near the entrance there was a large section displaying side dishes and bento boxes, and beyond that there was a drinks corner, etc., which would probably be convenient for people who work nearby to have lunch. There was also an eat-in space beyond the register. As the day we visited was just the pre-opening for the preview, there were no products lined up in the bread section, etc., so it might be different once the store actually opens, but unlike a regular supermarket, it felt like a huge convenience store mainly selling side dishes and bento boxes. Oh, but the sweets corner also had large puddings that felt made in-house, waffles filled with cream and fruit, and smaller cakes that felt a little more luxurious, which is a great feature that regular convenience stores just can't compete with.

This supermarket, located inside Shibuya Sakura Stage, opened on July 25, 2024. It offers a wide selection of fresh produce, bento boxes, and side dishes, and even has an eat-in area with a microwave. "Is this the perfect place for lunch?" I thought, so I bought the beef garlic rice. It seems to be rice stir-fried on a hot plate, and it's flavorful and filling. I'm full! This time I only purchased a single item, but since it's a supermarket, you can also buy salads, vegetable juices, and other items as you like. You can customize your meal to your liking♪ Teppan-fried! Beef Garlic Rice (646 yen)

The meat is super delicious. They're having a closing sale, but it seems like the items are selling out quickly.

I'm posting this to express my gratitude to the kind store clerk (a middle-aged woman).
I was trying to buy a roast beef bowl bento, but due to my carelessness, I dropped it on the floor. I told a middle-aged female clerk nearby that the floor had gotten dirty, and asked her to buy me the bento and clean it up, but she kindly offered with a smile, "I'll replace it with a new one! Do you have the same one?" Her extremely kind service, without a single frown, really warmed my heart. Thank you very much.

If you’re staying in Shibuya and need food that isn’t “instant noodles and regret,” this place is your hero. We came here to stock up for our Airbnb, and honestly, it felt like walking into a supermarket that’s been training for the Olympics: immaculate aisles, beautiful produce, and way more variety than I expected underground. The selection is fantastic: Fresh sushi? Yep. Bentō boxes that make convenience-store meals back home cry? Absolutely. A wall of snacks so dangerously appealing you start negotiating with your future self? Without question. The layout is clean and airy, with that stylish industrial ceiling that says “yes, I’m a grocery store, but also maybe a tech startup.” Everything is neatly organized, and even the frozen section looks like it has its life together. Perfect for grabbing a casual dinner you can pretend you “prepared”. Staff were friendly, the deli area was tempting enough to derail our dinner plans twice, and prices were reasonable for Tokyo... not cheap, not scary. If every city had a supermarket this polished, I’d stop eating out entirely. (That’s a lie. But still ... great store.)
